Mr. Shafer has over 13 years of experience in banking in Lubbock, TX. His lending experience includes a variety of industries, including commercial and residential real estate development and construction, manufacturing, and energy. Prior to joining American Momentum Bank, he worked in commercial lending and relationship management for a Texas-based regional bank.
Mr. Shafer is a 2006 graduate of Texas Tech University, where he earned a BBA in International Business. He is the treasurer and a board member for AMBUCS, which puts on the ABC Pro Rodeo to benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Lubbock. He is an avid outdoorsman and both he and his wife Danielle are active members of Hillside Christian Church.
