Industry veterans launch concierge association management company

12/13/2021

SARASOTA, Fla. (Dec. 13, 2021) — Association management veterans Dylan Clements, CMCA®, LCAM, and Charlyn Clements, LCAM, have launched Capstone Association Management, a full-service association management company serving homeowners and condominium associations in Sarasota, Manatee and Charlotte counties. The husband and wife duo have more than 15 years of combined experience in local association management.

Capstone Association Management will offer full-service association management, accounting and financial management and consulting services. The company has partnered with American Momentum Bank’s Association Banking division. Through the bank, the company will have access to CINC Systems, the first and largest internet-based integrated accounting and property management system for the community association industry.

CINC partners with premier banks in each state for its integrated banking feature. American Momentum is one of five CINC partner banks in Florida.

“After years of serving at local management firms, we kept experiencing the same problems within the association management industry,” said Dylan Clements, CEO of Capstone Association Management. “Capstone was founded to solve those problems and provide volunteer leaders with the resources and tailored management opportunities they need to create successful communities.”

Prior to founding Capstone Association Management, Dylan Clements served as a Community Association Manager for Argus Property Management. Charlyn Clements served as Director of Development for the same company.

Capstone Association Management services range from full-service association management to consulting with association board members on projects such as vendor bidding, preparing annual reports and budget preparation. Consulting services are unique for an association management company. This offering allows self-managed communities and developer-controlled communities to seek guidance from an association management firm without the cost of a management contract.

As part of its full-service offering, Capstone Association Management will also provide associations with software to process sale and lease applications online and comprehensive emergency response planning. Through CINC Systems, the company will also have access to a web-based dashboard that enables association managers to run accounting for clients and process in-house financials, track and manage violations and workorders, and much more.

“To have one system that does everything we need in a timely manner and also talks to our bank is fantastic,” said Charlyn Clements, COO of Capstone Association Management. “The American Momentum team has also been fantastic thus far.”

American Momentum’s association banking team has more than 60 years of combined experience serving associations in Florida. The bank offers a variety of competitive deposit products, specialized lending programs for capital improvements and insurance premium financing.

Capstone Association Management is expected to go live with CINC in February 2022. They are currently onboarding five associations for a 2022 start date.
